Q: Master Gwee, I found out through your website's "Auspicious Residence" that although my wife and I sleep in the same direction, this direction is advantageous to me but not to my wife. Since I noticed that she has been falling ill quite often recently, I found out her geomancy position through your website and realise it is the "defeat" position. How can I resolve this problem?

A: "Auspicious Residence" details the individual's geomancy positions through analysis of his/her date and time of birth. It is quite easy to resolve the issue regarding a bed position that is compatible with you but not your wife (it is rather selfish of you to choose a bed position that is only conducive to yourself - just joking.) Just hang a picture of red flowers above the bed and she will cease to fall sick.

Q: Master Gwee, my brother and I are twins born apart by a time difference of 15 minutes. We received similar reports under your website's "Lifetime's Fortunes". Does it mean that we share the same fate?

A: Both your born fates are identical. However, other acquired forces like geomancy, names, partners, etc will also play a part. Fate will still run its normal course but due to the difference in acquired forces, the outcomes will either be enhanced or weakened. You may also alter the course of your born fates through manipulation of the acquired forces.

Q: There are instances when many people encounter catastrophes at the same time and place. Does it mean they share the same date and time of birth?

A: Your question must be one that has plagued many others. It is also a difficult question to answer. In fate divination, this is known as "predestined fate". "Predestined fate" is a mishap that is destined to happen. I personally believe that "predestined fate" is caused by the mutual effects of the "collective date and time of birth" of that group of people as well as time and environmental factors. Research is currently being conducted on "collective date and time of birth". Once a breakthrough in understanding this concept is made, then we will be able to explain why and how a group of people happen to suffer the same fate at the same time. You may have noticed that "collective date and time of birth" may bring both great fortunes or bad luck to a company or household. In fact, the choice of "Collaboration Partners" is based upon this principle. There is still much room for improvement and further research still needs to be done in terms of fate divination. A: The answer to your question is a little complicated. From the geomantic angle, certain apartments may be plagued with this problem because of visions resulting from the space and magnetic fields (or unknown forces) as well as lighting effect. Exceptionally strong magnetic fields in a particular direction may be the cause for the falling cup just like a qigong master could move objects using his ethereal force. A: Your friend's brother has encountered the evil force in the realm of Tao. Geomancy may not be of much help. But Taoism has different ways of dealing with cases like this. Q: My one-year-old child always cries in the night. He often gets up in the middle of the night, staring in a particular direction. Can Master Gwee tell us if there is any problem with the geomancy of our house?

A: From the geomantic angle, if a particular position happen to coincide with the yin and yang interface, and if there is a door, opening, window or reflective surface like a mirror at that position, then human eyes will be able to see shadows from the paranormal dimension. If it is not a geomancy problem, then we will have to find out if the problem takes place at night or in the day; did veins emerge on the bridge of the child's nose or on his forehead; was he in shock recently; etc. I suggest you bring him/her to a doctor for an examination. If the situation does not improve after several consultations, please contact me immediately.

Q: From my "Lifetime's Fortunes" analysis report, I found out the reason why I have been suffering financial losses for the past three years. It is in fact destined. According to the report, I will still suffer from ill fortunes for another two more years. Can Master Gwee please advise me as to how to neutralise the situation?

A: "Lifetime's Fortunes" is the result of analysis done on any individual's date and time of births. Your report indicates two more years of ill fortunes. It can only be corrected/improved through manipulation of geomantic factors (or names). It is also crucial to know your fate and to go with the flow of things. It means you may just need to put aside your investments at the moment and wait for the situation to get better. In the meantime, you could study the trends and seek out new and worthy opportunities to invest in in two year's time.

Q: I clandestinely accessed "Lifetime's Fortunes" and got a report of my fortunes. I realise that it was no wonder that recently many girls seem to fancy me. I have also indulge in affairs with them. It is because my present fate dictates that I shall be inundated with matters of the heart. Worse thing is, my wife found out and our marriage is now on the rocks. Can fate divination or geomancy help in resolving the situation? Will Master Gwee please help me.

A: If you have the will to neutralise the situation, then it can be done. All you have to do is to place lucky charms in strategic positions around your bed in accordance with your fate. Then you will have to find an auspicious day and time when the tide will ebb. Place lotus flowers and your date and time of birth on a boat and set it afloat. This is a traditional ritual practised since ancient times and not easily made available to just anybody.

Q: My brother went swimming with some friends recently and fell on the beach. He has since then seemed unsound. We consulted doctors but to no avail. I have accessed "Lifetime's Fortunes" and found out that he is presently suffering from ill fortunes. A: Geomancy will be able to help. First, find out his "Tianyi" ("natural healing") position (refer to "Residential Geomancy"). Then arrange the position of his bed at the most opportune time in accordance with his fate. Honestly speaking, this is not a foolproof method. You may also try the Taoist spirit restoration method. Rituals will have to be performed for a duration of seven days by the beach using a seven foot long bamboo, some charms and clothing of your brother. It is a complicated process to plead with the Dragon King of the Four Seas to assist in recalling the spirit and soul of your brother. Please contact me if you need assistance. Q: My entire family has not had a day of good fortune since my grandfather passed away 29 years ago. My second uncle also passed away the following year. A: If you have been consulting reliable and proficient geomancers but to no avail, then the problem could lie in your ancestors' burial grounds. As your second uncle also passed away the following year, it indicates that there must be a steep slope directly behind the tomb or there must be a drain or river in that position. If so, then the problem lies in your ancestor's burial ground. Then the issue becomes complicated. We must then also study the surroundings. Are any trees growing right through the coffin or waterways passing through the coffin, etc. If so, then the fortunes of the future generations will be adversely affected. The burial ground has to be excavated immediately in order for the family to enjoy peace and good fortunes. Burial ground excavation has to be handled by experienced geomancers. Q: Due to the global financial crisis, I was retrenched by my company. It has been three months and I still have not found work. A: You will have to look for work related to your past job. On the other hand, upgrade yourself in related areas under the suggested jobs spelled out in your divination report to enhance your chances of securing the job. A: Let me begin by first congratulating Mr Lee. According to your birthdate, you will have luck again in February (lunar calendar) next year. It is also dependent on whether the geomancy or wealth position in your residence has been corrected. If so, then it is likely that you will strike a fortune. I hope that you will donate some money to an old folks home when you do strike it big (just joking).

Q: The head of my bed leans against the west wall. Why is it that I could not fall asleep if I turn in early? There is a large window in the east and a small window in the north. The situation improves in spring but gets worse in summer. Will Master Gwee please advise.

A: There are problems with your bed position. With your bed in that position, it becomes much warmer due to the setting sun in the west. Coupled by the fact that the room is not very big and also with a small window, heat could not dissipate easily. The situation will be better if you go to bed later. Of course, air-conditioning will help in heat dissipation. In addition, you should also take note that the position of the bed is compatible to your fate. Q: I wonder whether the table and chair in my office have anything to do with geomancy. My table is very big and there is a big piece of glass on top of it. I can see the door of the office when seated. However, the going has been very tough for the business. What is the reason?

A: Your problem lie in the piece of glass on the table. The lights from the ceiling are reflected by the glass which in turn affects your eyes and subsequently your brain. Q: Master Gwee, do you conduct lessons in Taoism or incantations? What are your charges?

A: I am not a Taoist priest. I am a geomancer. But I have many books on Taoism. If you like, you may visit me to read these books. I of course have old books on incantations but they are only available to my students. I do not charge for incantation lessons. It is not easy to learn the tricks of the trade. First, one must meditate for 49 days. One must incant everyday. Then one must learn the representative parts of each incantation. After that, one has to practise one's ether (qi) and calligraphy. One must not harbour evil thoughts which will prevent one from attaining enlightenment. It's like everyone can issue a cheque but whether the cheque can be cashed is comparable to whether one can derive benefit from one's practice.

Q: Master Gwee, do you conduct lessons in fate divination or geomancy? When will lessons commence? What fees do you charge?

A: Fulu Geomancy Centre does conduct classes in fate divination and geomancy. Please e-mail me if you are interested. Q: I recently could often hear the voices of children at night but they are of a muffled nature. When I turn to the direction where the voices are coming from, the voices will stop. Could there be problems with the geomancy of my residence? Will Master Gwee please advise.

A: This has everything to do with geomancy. You can stand in that position and see if it feels chilly. The yin (negative) ether usually gathers in dark places where it's difficult for the winds to reach. Could you have heard the voices of the children next door? If not, then they could be spirits in the same vein as the "little spirits" nurtured by certain Thai sects. They usually follow one home or the people who nurture them in the past did not bring them along when they moved or the neighbours could be nurturing them but they happen to congregate in your home. You may place a figurine of Zhong Kui, the legendary ghostbuster, in that specific position.

Q: My wife and I recently moved into a new place and began incessant quarrelling. Our relationship has also taken a turn for the worse. Is there a problem with the geomancy of our residence? Will Master Gwee please advise.

A: Squabbles between couples is inevitable. But if quarrels became a daily affair after you have moved house, then it has everything to do with its geomancy. Do you know the exact date and time when you settled on the position of the bed when you moved house? A man's life, from birth to death, is closely linked to the bed. Q: Master Gwee, can you please briefly tell us about the directions of houses and how this will affect the fortunes of the occupants in 1999?

A: My analysis for the year of 1999 is as follows:
1. Residence or tables facing southeast: advised to place white carpet or fish tank out front to boost auspiciousness. Can also rear six goldfishes.
2. Residence or tables facing south: look out for multiple accidents. Advised to rear six black fishes to neutralise this.
3. Residence or tables facing southwest: business will expand; possibility of promotion; help from 'lucky star'. Boost fortunes with red or white.
4. Residence or tables facing west: romantic tryst imminent; movement or advancement imminent; neutralise romantic trysts with pen stands, calligraphy pens, ink slabs. Can also place three pieces of lucky bamboo or green/white book racks to boost fortunes.
5. Residence or tables facing northwest: much quarrels and gossip and frame-ups by villains. Place red carpet or red lanterns out front to neutralise this.
6. Residence or tables facing north: good luck and ill fortunes come in equal measures. Advised to rear black fish to neutralise this.
7. Residence or tables facing northeast: illnesses imminent; unexpected windfall; financial problems. Must neutralise with a sword, bronze unicorn, bronze elephant, or gold ingot made from golden windcharm and old bronze coins.

Q: Why did you decide to set up office in Singapore and not in China which is where geomancy and fate divination originated?

A: Singapore is where cultures of the east and west mesh. It has much to offer in terms of language and communications. It also has talents from all over the world. The internet is a global communication channel. This is why our website is multi-lingual. In fact, we are currently in the process of designing a Japanese version and it should be launched online very soon. Versions for other languages are also in progress.

Q: I am interested in having my fortunes told but I do not have a credit card. What should I do?
